Wander to a traditional buchetta del vino, believed to be one of Florence’s oldest. Enjoy a glass of Tuscan wine and a crunchy tarallo as your guide shares stories of Renaissance-era merchants and quirky Florentine traditions.
Taste Tuscany’s comfort-food classics
Next, settle into a cozy enoteca (wine shop) with a kitchen for a variety of Tuscan flavors. Enjoy Prosciutto, salami, two cheeses, tomato bruschetta, classic thick tomato soup known as pappa al pomodoro, and two different paccheri pasta dishes one with yellow tomato sauce and the other with classic tomato sauce. Then indulge in a tasting selection of Orange mustard, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. These tastings are paired with a locally sourced wine for the full Tuscan experience.
Cross Ponte Vecchio into the Oltrarno

We had such a wonderful time with Fredericka. She was very knowledgeable and personable. The food we tasted was off the beaten path and gives you a really good taste of local cuisine. We highly recommend this tour and loved every second of it. The highlight was the bistecca which you get a generous portion of and the gelato.

I went into it think ....ok we'll see. Came out with ...I am soo glad we dis this! Diana was fabulous! Even parts foodie and historian (gossip! ). She showed us her favorite spots, we ate like kings and truly enjoyed the evening. The best money I have spent so far. If you are considering, stop and just hit the button already! I promise you will not be disappointed!

Our Florence Evening Food Tour with Florentine Steak and Tuscan Wine was fun, casual, and had a good balance of walking, drinking, and eating! Mahnni was really good at handling our group and we had lots of interesting conversations not just about food but about some of the other sites we walked through. She was very clear about which types of wine were available at the specific stops, which was great for me as I’m not a huge wine drinker We didn’t have to wait for very long to get into the 5 restaurants on the tour. We started at a “wine window”, and went on to cold cuts and cheese, ravioli, Florentine steak, and finally gelato! It didn’t even feel like a tour. It was more like an awesome night hanging out with a fun and very well-informed local! We met some great people on the tour too and even went back to one of the restaurants the next day! I wouldn’t mind meeting up with Mahnni again on my next trip to Florence. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a great food tour by Lori today. She was very knowledgeable about Florence and shared her culture through a food tour and great meal of Florentine steak, Italian appetizers and gelato! She was especially sweet and thoughtful as she arranged for a birthday treat for my daughter when she found out it was her birthday!

Lori should be on the next youtube video, she was amazing and so excited about her job. The food and the restaurants chosen were all unique and tasty. None of them were the overly hyped restaurants that everyone goes through, there was amazing variety and lots of fun facts. All the wine we tasted was amazing and we got plenty of steak to eat. Anyone who is on the fence about booking should book it, this was a highlight during our trip to Florence for sure

We had a great time and Marco, the tour guide, was amazing. The tour was very fun, and the places we visited were very good! We had time to eat, drink, talk, and have a great night. It is a tour that can be booked all by yourself or with companions, since you get the opportunity to meet new people. I have food allergies (seafood), and the tour guide arranged everything considering my limitation. We highly recommend it. And the bistecca...oh the bistecca!
