John from UK was an exceptional guide. I don't normally like guided tours at all but wanted the fastest way to see Sistine Chapel and St Peter's. We got so much more than that. Easy meet-up spot, on-time guide, good audio equipment so you didn't have to stay glued to him, and very quick entry. But most importantly, John's comments were interesting, he was a good story teller, he paced the tour well, he was thoughtful about bathroom breaks, he was good about group management and making sure we were somewhere interesting when he spoke. I was really surprised to enjoy this tour so much and we got a lot more out of the museum than just the chapel and church we went to see. We were also able to climb to the Dome at end (optional about 20-30 min line and a 10 Euro ticket). The tour efficiently winds through the complex and takes shortcuts between buildings that only Guides can take. We were awestruck by the length of the line waiting to get into St Peter's after we left. Tour is just the right amount of time but you can stay longer if you wish..

We had a great time on our tour with our guide Bogdan. He was super informative. This was our first of 8 days in Italy, and some of the information he gave us about the art in the Vatican was helpful for art excursions through the rest of the trip. The tour was delightful.
