Meet at the green souvenir kiosk in front of the "Colosseo" metro stop, located just outside the lower level. A friendly representative will be there holding a sign with our company name on it.
Government-issued ID for entrance to the Colosseum. Archaeological sites have uneven terrain so wear comfortable sneakers. Bring sunscreen and a water bottle during the hot summer months.

We didn’t know we’d be seeing Palatine Hill and other ruins, but glad we did. Faby has great command of the history, but was so detailed, we feared we’d miss the Colosseum- but we didn’t. We came away enriched.

Our tour guide Donato was fantastic first and foremost. He was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all questions. The biggest issue was that, for a tour advertising Special access Colusseum floor tour it was very underwhelming. We spent from 3-5pm going through the different forums walking towards the Colosseum itself. We were allowed access from 5-5:25pm to the grounds and than asked to leave.
Many other guests on the tour with us also were left asking “don’t we get to go in further? Don’t we get to go down into the lower levels? “ etc. unfortunately if we had known that only 30 mins max out of the 2.5 hour tour would have been at the Colosseum , we would have most likely bought a ticket from the venue directly and not felt rushed out.

We loved this tour! It was so fun to see everything up close and get onto the Colosseum arena floor. There was so much to explore and, even though it was busy, we were still able to really enjoy it.
Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and she absolutely made our day. She brought so much genuine excitement about everything she told us and she was a wealth of information.
