Guide tips
Your tour begins at the Louvre Pyramid
Meet your guide at the bronze statue of King Louis XIV on horseback, right in front of the glass pyramid. They'll be holding a company sign so you can spot them easily in the bustling courtyard.
Skip the lines and enter the Louvre
While other visitors queue at the main entrance, you'll breeze through a separate door reserved for small groups. Within minutes, you're inside the world's largest art museum, ready to explore its treasures.
Guided tour of the Louvre
Your guide shares how this building started as a medieval fortress in the 1100s, then became a royal palace before transforming into a public museum. The walls themselves tell centuries of French history.
Meet the Mona Lisa
Now it's time for the star attraction. Leonardo da Vinci's tiny painting draws the biggest crowds, but visiting late afternoon means you'll actually get close enough to see her famous smile and maybe snap a photo.
Explore the sculpture galleries
Moving from paintings to statues, you'll encounter the headless Winged Victory at the top of a grand staircase and the armless Venus de Milo in the Greek halls. These ancient works are just as captivating as the paintings.

The Louvre was incredible, as expected! We got to see the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and the Monna Lisa and the Wedding Feast- absolute highlights! Louis XIV’s golden room is still closed after the jewel theft.
Our guide was very knowledgable, and gave us a lot of great information about the French history, which was great. Would have liked a lot less pausing and talking, and a lot more art. We paused excessively to talk about pictures of the crown jewels and french politics, to the point i had to walk away from the group to examine the paintings. We were shown very, very little actual art outside of the three great ladies of the Louvre, for a tour hour tour. Overall, would recommend- very impressed with the Louvre, but i would have liked to move faster and see a few more rooms.

This is a very good tour for families with kids. Louvre can be overwhelming for kids due to number of visitors and the rush of crowds. Often the highlights are missed and Anna our tour guide did a great job getting to the history and high lights that gave quick overview to kids. They learned a lot and had a great time in Louvre.

The tour itself was excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable. personable and knew her way around the museum. She even provided directions to my daughter to get back to something that wasn't covered on the tour.
My only issue is that on Wednesday the Louvre stays open later so this tour is not really at closing time, so there will still be a lot of people there, especially around the Mona Lisa.

This was a great way to see the main attractions at the Louvre. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. At this time of day the Louvre did feel a lot less crowded. The Mona Lisa still had a big audience but not like it does earlier in the day.

What a great time we had with Sid! He made art history come alive. We were all tired from a long day of touring and he kept us interested (even my teenage children!). I recommend him highly!

I don’t think I would have appreciated Louvre Museum so much if it hadn’t been for this tour! We followed our guide Anastasia among the many different parts of the building, so we didn’t have to worry about getting lost and wasting time. She did a great job sharing a lot of information and keeping us interested all the time, always with a smile on! Great experience overall!

The crowds were huge, the place was noisy, and people were not always considerate. That said,
Mariom our guide was very informative and nice. The collection is excellent. I suggest going on one of the later hours days. The headphones saved us.

This was the perfect way to see the Louvre! Our guide was wonderful and lead us through the museum to see "big 10" works of art.
I don't think we would have been able to navigate the museum without a guide - the tour is well worth the money!

I absolutely recommend this tour. We were a little apprehensive about visiting the Louvre because of the reported crowds. That is why I opted to take a tour—and it served to be well worth every penny. Granted, the Louvre is huge and the two-hour tour only covered a fraction, but that was well worth it. Our guide was well informed and we learned so much. I came back to the apartment and recommended the tour to everyone!
Just okay

The tour did its job in allowing you to quickly get access to the museum’s top attractions without having to wait on long lines. However the guide was constantly telling (unfunny) jokes, “jabbing” some of the attendees inappropriately, and making other references to drinking and partying, etc. He would often ramble and was sometimes hard to follow on a given topic. I understand wanting to make a tour engaging but this was a bit over the top. He suggested he was also a stand up comedian so perhaps he should just stick with that.
