Great tour

Even though it was uncomfortably hot, our guide took that into consideration taking us to all available water fountains. She was great in imparting a lot of information throughout the tour and I would use the company and guide again.

We loved our guide Elizabeth who worked so hard to keep us together in the chaos and to seek relief from this unprecedented heat wave. She never complained and keep encouraging us to sounded as excited to tell us the info as if it was her first time and we all know it was not! Also company great with details and confirming info to us often. Felt like we were in good hands

Informative tour

Excellent tour that explained all in detail. We navigated through rooms with ease.

Our tour was fantastic. The Tour Guy was booked the day we scheduled, so they found another great company for us to go with. We had a fabulous guide who took the time in the heat to explain everything in detail and with excitement. He knew how to easily navigate the very busy lines. He had our group wait in the shade and find air conditioning when possible. It was a pleasure hearing all of the small facts that we would have missed on our own.

Wonderful Tour!!

I had been to the Vatican Museums many years ago and the experience with a tour guide was so much better, I got so much out of my visit this time. Sara was informative and kept us moving to get through the immense museum at a good pace while giving us great bits of history and interesting stories. The "cheat sheet" for the Sistine Chapel was fantastic and so helpful, there were so many details she told us about and included on the sheet that made the experience so much more valuable than my previous visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This tour was excellent. Our guide, Melissa, provided a wealth of knowledge on the histories of Rome and the Papacy. Her insight and ability to make her stories entertaining were much appreciated by our group. Since our tour was semi-private, it allowed us to have a much more personalized experience. We were able to access areas other tour groups could not. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. My only caveat is to experience Rome and the Papacy in a cooler time. Our tour was in August. The Vatican Museums are not air conditioned and the resulting heat was very unpleasant. The Sistine Chapel, however, is air conditioned, and St. Peter’s Basilica was bearable, but the majority of the tour time is spent in the museums and outside courtyards. Pick a cooler month and you can’t beat purchasing this tour.
