Such an informative dinner, really a mini lesson with Alex our sommelier. We were able to just sit and chat about the wines and Italy and he had so much info to share. Would do again, he was so easy to talk to he felt like a friend. Absolutely would recommend and would do again!

Alex was amazing! Place he took us to for dinner was perfect. The atmosphere and food was superb! Definitely recommend him and this tour. It was easy to find him and he is born and raised in Rome. Also teaches about wine so his knowledge was vast but humble. I cannot recommend him enough.

We loved our whole experience on our hosted tour. Our guide shared tons of information on the food and wines that we tried, and the service was wonderful. It was off-season and we were the only ones on the tour, which was intimate and fun. It would have been great with a crowd too, though! Perfect way to spend our first evening in Rome.

Alessandro was a great host for this experience. It was like having dinner with a new friend. He shared his knowledge of the food in each course along with details on how it is prepared. He also explained why each wine was chosen and provided information on each one as well as the region of Italy where they were produced. He welcomed our questions and was able to answer all of them thoroughly. I couldn't be happier about deciding to purchase this.
