Your tour begins at Avenue Elisée Reclus
You'll meet your guide in Avenue Elisée Reclus alongside a small group of 20 people or fewer. Your guide will share captivating stories about the tower's controversial construction while handling your tickets, so you can soak in those first stunning views of this iconic monument.
Security checkpoint and 2nd floor elevator
After a quick security check, you'll ride the elevator 377 feet up to the 2nd-floor observation deck. The city unfolds below, spot the Arc de Triomphe, the green ribbon of the Champs-Élysées, and Notre Dame's famous towers.
Summit elevator ride
Next, a glass-walled elevator carries you to the top visitor level, 905 feet above the streets. From up here, Paris stretches to the horizon in every direction. You can peek into Gustave Eiffel's original office or grab Champagne at the bar.
1st floor glass floor experience
Then you'll head back down to the 1st floor, where a magical experience awaits. You'll walk across a suspended glass floor 182 feet above the ground, watching the River Seine wind directly beneath your feet.

We were unable to make this tour. We were ill the day before from our flight from the states. We could not feel well enough to get up early. We got a late start and arrived at the destination point at 9:30am. We did call to notify the tour guide that we could not make the tour.

A very enjoyable tour that provided a great review of the history of its past, present and future. Our guide provided colorful and fun details that engaged the entire group. Gilbert, our guide, was fabulous!! He was very knowledgeable and very accepting of questions from the group. We could not have chosen a better time. Sunset into dark, seeing the city lights coming on, and then experiencing the tower being lit up was magical!!

Our guide did a fantastic job of conveying the history of the Eiffel Tower and pointing out the key sites of Paris and their historical significance from the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower. She also let us know where we could take the best pics of the Eiffel Tower after the tour. Meeting up with the guide and going through security was seamless.

We had to change our tour time, however, it turned out to be an amazing time to see the Tower. Our awesome guide, Gilbert, was amazing! He explained the history of the building, the workers, and how the Tower has been an important part of the history of Paris. He pointed out all of the most recognizable buildings that can be seen from the upper levels of the Tower and gladly helped us all get good pictures. I thought he did an amazing job! As a teacher, I can be a little fussy about these things-but he rates an A+!
The thing to remember about the “The Tour Guy” is that really are a broker of different “Trusted Partners” and even if you schedule a time, it might not work out if they don’t completely book it. They were great with communicating this with me, it just put a little hitch in my plans. It ended up being a blessing in disguise
