Itinerary

Your tour begins in central Bruges

Meet your chocolatier-host in central Bruges and settle into a warm workshop space. After quick introductions, you’ll get an overview of what you’ll make, taste, and take home by the end.

Mix your fillings and build your ganache

Start by preparing the centers for your chocolate pralines, using milk chocolate for the ganache filling. Your host walks you through textures and timing, so you understand how Belgian chocolates get that smooth center bite.

Shape praline shells with Belgian dark chocolate

Next, work with dark chocolate to create the exterior praline shells and learn how to coat and set them cleanly. You’ll pick up practical techniques you can reuse at home, even if this is your first time in a chocolate workshop.

Pair your creations with a Belgian beer tasting

As your chocolates set and dry, enjoy a Belgian beer tasting that complements the rich cocoa flavors. Your host shares simple pairing tips, and if you are under 18, you’ll be served a non-alcoholic drink instead.

Finish and pack your handmade chocolates

Once everything is ready, you’ll assemble, finish, and box up your pralines to take with you as a souvenir. You’ll leave with new skills, a sweet stash for later, and a better feel for why Bruges takes chocolate so seriously.

Your tour ends at the workshop in central Bruges

Wrap up the tour at the workshop, with your handmade chocolates in hand. From here, you’re perfectly placed to keep exploring Bruges’ historic center or find a nearby café to keep the tasting going.
