Your tour begins in Friedrichshain
Meet your guide outside a local eatery in Friedrichshain, the East Berlin district that traded communist grey for global flavor. Look for your guide, after quick hellos and an introduction to the tour, set off on foot.
Taste a classic Berlin döner
First up is döner kebab, the Turkish-German street food Berliners eat over 400,000 times a day. You'll bite into one at a neighborhood spot, paired with Club Mate, the fizzy caffeinated tea that fuels the city.
Savor Syrian mezze at a family supper club
Next, settle into a Syrian-Levantine supper club run by a local family. Here you scoop up metabal, a smoky dip of eggplant, tahini, and garlic, with craft beer. On the way, pass one of Berlin's last squat houses.
Bite into Vietnamese-German fusion
Then step into a neon-lit Vietnamese street food spot for the TyTy taco, filled with marinated chicken, pickled onions, and sweetcorn. Nearby sits RAW-Gelände, an old rail yard now packed with clubs and galleries.
Try Berlin's famous currywurst
Currywurst is next, served mit Darm, or “with the casing” at the city's most famous stand. Sink your teeth into the sausage doused in curry-spiced ketchup while learning how this snack was invented in postwar Berlin and became legend.

Alcohol Consumption: This tour includes local craft beer; participants consuming alcohol should be of legal drinking age in Germany (18). Please bring a government-issued ID if you plan to partake.
Waiver Requirement: Before departure, you'll sign a short waiver covering dietary needs and liability terms. Your guide will provide it via a QR code at the meeting point.
Children: Children under 4 can join for free, though food is not included. Paid tickets with food are available for ages 4 and up.
