Our guide Fredarica (spelling?) was excellent. A great lineup of foods to taste and all were very good. She showed us other things along the way that were very interesting. You need more people like her.

Marco was an excellent guide. We learned so much about the surrounding areas of Rome as well as the food we ate. We had delicious cheese, pasta, cod and vino! So much fun! Highly recommend!

Trastevere Local Food Tour in Rome

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves on this three-hour walking tour while visiting four local restaurants/food shops. The food was wonderful, but our guide Claudio really made the tour. He supplied us with some history and the architectural significance of several sites we passed by. The pace wasn't over strenuous, and we would highly recommend this tour, especially with Claudio, who was very personable and answered our small group's various questions. We tasted cheeses, meats, pastas, the best fried cod I've ever had anywhere, and finally, yummy gelato. The first three stops included wine to enhance the flavors. Money very well spent! A+++++

Fantastic Tour!

This was such a fun tour! The Roman Guy never disappoints. We met great people from all over the world, and Marco, our guide, was outstanding - knowledgeable, friendly and a true local Roman. He took us to places we never would have discovered on our own. The food was delicious, the wine was flowing and the atmosphere made the whole evening feel special. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to eat well, learn a little and enjoy great company. 10/10

Enjoyed the tour

We really enjoyed our Food Tour. Sam was a great guide. This was a laid back tour with a little bit of walking. We met some really nice people on the tour and enjoyed some really great food and wine. This was a great way to ease into our visit to Rome and we highly recommend it.
