The actual working and living palace of the holy father is an entirely different part of the complex. These virtual experiences include:

1-Hour Interactive Online Experience
A deep exploration into hidden locations within the Vatican.
The Pauline Chapel & Michelangelo
The Pauline Chapel was commissioned by Pope Paul III (Pontiff 1534-1549) to be used for various ceremonies of the church. To decorate this important chapel was none other than Michelangelo himself! These two frescos were painted immediately after the Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel and were to be his last paintings that he created.
The two paintings are of the crucifixion of St. Peter and the conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus. The difference in style is striking, since in these two paintings you will notice that Michelangelo is not worried about beauty itself and is more concerned with the actual narrative of the story. They are powerful paintings and a great way for him to finish his painting career.
The Apostolic Palace and Papal Apartments
Many people don't realize that when you visit the Vatican Museums, you are actually visiting buildings where pope's throughout the centuries have lived and worked. Today, the actual rooms you visit are no longer used for those purposes (Except the Sistine Chapel during the election of a new pope).
What most people do not know, is that the working and functioning part of the Vatican State sometimes happens right behind some doors that are seen by the public! This means that you could be visiting the Raffael Rooms and one discreet door to your left could bring you in direct contact with the Pope! You are not allowed to visit these rooms on your own, but The Tour Guy is now bringing these special rooms into your home!
The Niccoline Chapel
The Niccoline chapel was built for Pope Nicholas V (Pontiff 1447-1455) to be used as his own private chapel. This beautifully ornate chapel is not usually open to the public and therefore holds some beautiful artwork to be seen! The majority of the artwork is by the famous early Renaissance painter Fra' Angelico. As you walk inside (virtually) you will see a beautiful blue ceiling with stars and masterpieces in fresco surrounding the walls.
So much more!
Besides the above, your expert guide of the Vatican will show you Medieval towers, winding staircases and even the Papal toilet! Join us on this unusual adventure to unveil the many secrets that the Vatican City possesses!

Excellent tour of lesser known parts of the Vatican
This tour was a wonderful surprise. I recently took the Vatican tour with Franco and immediately signed up for this tour to supplement the first (wonderful!) tour. Franco is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and an excellent guide. He includes magnificent photos, entertaining anecdotes, and a clearly vast knowledge of the Vatican and Roman history. I look forward to taking more tours with Franco and The Tour Guy in the future.

Vatican - Secret Rooms of the Vatican
Franco did a very interesting talk and showed lots of areas of the Vatican that I was aware of but had never really seen. It was great as I knew there were other amazing rooms that I had not seen on any tour while in Rome. Really engaging and would recommend.
