Skip the Line Colosseum Tour
Enter the Roman Colosseum, also nicknamed the Flavian Amphitheater, skipping the line, allowing you to feel like a true VIP as you dodge the lines and crowds. Your expert guide will set the scene for what it felt like to attend the rattling events that took place inside of the Colosseum, usually gladiator fights and even public executions.
On this experience, you’ll visit the first and second tiers of the Colosseum, areas reserved for seating Rome’s most elite classes during the Colosseum’s gladiator games. Your guide will enlighten you with some of the most intriguing stories of some of the Colosseum’s most gruesome events.
Guided Tour of Palatine Hill
Follow your guide to the site that’s said to be the site where Romulus founded the city of Rome in 753 B.C. Wondering about the lifestyle of the rich and the famous, ancient Rome edition? Palatine Hill is the best stop to learn about it. Palatine Hill was like the Beverly Hills of ancient Rome, full with ornate palaces with lavish amenities. One of the palaces you’ll visit, the Palace of Domitian, even had its own amphitheater inside of the property.
Ancient Roman Forum
Explore the ruins that made up ancient Rome’s downtown area. As a political and social hub of the city, this is where Rome’s most important decisions were made. Trace the footsteps of Julius Caesar and visit popular sites such as the Arch of Titus and Senate House.
Capitoline Hill
Also known as Campidoglio, Capitoline Hill is one of the seven hills of Rome. In the center of the piazza, you will find Palazzo Senatorio, Rome’s city hall. You’ll get to look out over the views of the Roman Forum and capture the essence of ancient Rome.
Trevi Fountain
Check out the most famous fountain not only in Rome, but probably the world. Depicting the Greek god Oceanus, this fountain portrays the changing tides of the ocean. With your right hand, toss a coin into the fountain over your left shoulder and you’re said to have a guaranteed return to the Eternal City.
Gelato Stop
Even though you’re seeing Rome’s best sites, all of this walking can definitely tire you out. That’s why we built in a gelato break to keep you fueled during your walking tour. We’ll stop at one of our local favorites before heading to our next stop.
Pantheon
Known as the most well-preserved ancient Roman building, the Pantheon exemplifies classic Greek architecture. When you see it, you’ll begin to notice how many buildings have been modeled after this classic architecture, such as the U.S. Capitol and Jefferson Memorial. Previously a temple housing classic art pieces, the Pantheon is now considered a church.
Piazza Navona
Finish your tour off in the beautiful Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most popular squares, home to tons of bars and restaurants. The piazza was actually built on top of the Stadium of Domitian, one of ancient Rome’s most popular arenas, aside from the Colosseum. In the center of the piazza, you’ll notice a large Egyptian Obelisk with characters that mention Emperor Domitian.

Worth a million stars!
I have two boys, 10 and 13 years old, so you can imagine how hard it is to find tours that entertain them. First, the tour guide engaged them in EVERY aspect of the tour. I've never seen my boys so intrigued. There were no lines, so I didn't have to worry about them getting restless or irritated. The guide explained the gladiator fights and battles and patiently answered every question my sons had. I was a little worried that they would lose interest as we switched to the walkng part of the tour, but they didn't! We got to see the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon (which I LOVED) and we stoped for Gelato (which the whole family loved). If I could give more stars I would!
Amazing tour!
My family and I came all the way from Canada to see the Colosseum, and this tour was great because in addition to the Colosseum, we got to see so much of the city that we would have missed on our own. This tour was perfect for my group - and we were absolutely amazed by how knowledgeable our tour guide was!
We loved it!
My family and I had such a good time doing this tour. The timing was great, the scenery was amazing and our tour guide was super knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be recommending to friends who are planning to visit soon.
