Like what you see? That's because we want you to experience all of France's finest foods, which is why we're the only tour company offering a stop for famous French oysters and a sit-down dinner.
French Oysters and Champagne
Your tour begins in typical Paris fashion—with champagne! Enjoy a crisp glass of the bubbly accompanied by oysters to give you a real taste of France. Your guide will tell you all there is to know about these delectable treats before you head off to the next stop.
Cheese and Wine Tasting
No Paris food tour would be complete without cheese. At this stop, you'll learn how cheese is integral to the France’s cuisine and culture. You'll stop at our local favorite wine and cheese shop to sample some incredible pairings.
Paris Street Food: Falafel
With a rich Middle Eastern culture in Paris, falafel has been adopted as one of the city’s favorite street food snacks, and there’s much debate about who makes the best ones. Your guide will take you to one of our absolute favorite falafel shops for a real Paris street food experience.
Classic Beef Bourguignon
Next, your tour will head to a local brasserie for a hearty sit-down meal. There, you’ll be able to experience another French delicacy: beef bourguignon accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and a delicious glass of red wine. Beef bourguignon is cooked slowly until it almost falls apart, before simmering with a mixture of local vegetables. Sit back, relax, and let your taste buds do the work.
Sweet French Dessert
You’ll finish a fabulous evening off with one of two amazing local desserts. Crème brûlée is a sweet vanilla cream served with a layer of crunchy, caramelized sugar. Crème caramel, on the other hand, has a clear caramel coat on top rather than the harder sugar layer. It's the sweetest way to end your food tour of Paris.

Leave a reviewTasty and Friendly Tour of the Marais
We were unsure we could handle a 3-hour food tour on our first evening after arriving from an overnight transatlantic flight, but we are very glad we did. Our guides, Sonali and Julie, were kind and enthusiastic students of Paris and French food, and the Marais tour was leisurely paced and let us get a good dose of the simple pleasure of walking in Paris. The food experience was well chosen, as it was a real pleasure to spend time talking and making new friends with our guides and our fellow traveler.
A great food tour of Marais with Sonali!

This was my first visit to Paris, and I knew I wanted to do a food tour of Marais. Everything on the ‘menu’ for the tour was the food I was looking for (except oysters weren’t in season sadly). Sonali was a wealth of great information. The wine and cheese stop was probably my favorite, followed closely by the boeuf dinner and crème brule dessert. The tour ran almost 4 hours and we all had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend this experience.
Paris Food Tour in Marais -- wonderful!

All the food and wine was amazing, and we enjoyed learning about all the foods and Paris culture. Thank you, Sonali! Also very much appreciated the small group and making new friends.
