You'll want to fill it up, when you learn about our world famous Colosseum Underground Tour!
This is a walking tour and involves walking some galleries as well as going up & down stairs.
Start your after-hours Vatican tour by visiting a terrace that boasts one of the best views of St Peter's dome.
This Pinecone Courtyard was designed by Donato Bramante and named for the giant pinecone that adorns one of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in the Vatican Museums.
Your guide will delve into the history of the sculptures that line this can’t-miss area of the Vatican Museums, including one of the most famous sculptures of all time, 'Laocoon and Sons'
Originally an open "loggia," this gallery was walled and closed some 200 years ago. The statues and candelabras that you will see inside date back as far as the 3rd Century B.C.
Many of the masterpieces in this gallery were designed after the cartoons drawn by Raphael, including a tapestry that includes a spectacular optical illusion.
A true highlight of the Vatican Museums that features incredible frescoes of maps.
Commissioned by Pope Pius IX, the Room of the Immaculate Conception at the Vatican Museum honors the promulgation of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception.
Decorated for Pope Julius II by the hand of Raphael, these apartments are adorned in Raphael’s priceless frescos, including his iconic "School of Athens”.
Visit the rooms that once served as the apartments of the scandalous Pope Alexander VI, a Borgia pope whose walls hold many secrets.
Michelangelo's masterpiece, The Sistine Chapel, is the pièce de résistance of the Vatican Museums that must be seen in person.
The Sistine Chapel's frescoes portraying a sequence of biblical stories, took Michelangelo four years to complete.
After your tour ends, the museum stays open for a few more hours. Revisit your favorite paintings and explore the rest of the Vatican Museums at your own pace.
The Sistine Chapel is a place of worship, therefore, speaking inside is not allowed. Since our guide cannot explain the frescoes while you are inside, we explain the Chapel in advance and provide you with a map/handout for reference before you enter. Men and women must cover their knees and shoulders before entering. We understand the summers in Rome get hot, a good alternative is to bring a scarf or shawl to cover up with before you enter.

I did the Vatican, the Coliseum and the Golf Cart Tours with Brandon. All three were fantastic and not at all like the masses of people following around someone with an umbrella or a silly flag...they were small, personalized and educational.
I HIGHLY recommend the Roman Guy - they make it fun and easy to get to know this amazing city. Ciao!..more

From the beginning when I emailed Sean he was wonderful to work with, he responded to emails and when I was not sure on times to visit the Colosseum and the Vatican he suggested the times that would be least crowded and not as hot. While in Italy, it was great to just arrive at the site and not have to worry about where to go to buy tickets and where to enter, Sean had taken care of everything! Both tours we received (Colosseum and Vatican) were great, we learned a lot and Sean showed us everything we wanted to see and taught us stuff we never knew. Another great perk with using Sean is he suggested a restaurant our first night in Rome and made the reservation for us. It was great to not have to worry where we were going to eat our first night. The food (and wine) was wonderful and the service was amazing, we will definitely go back! Sean also took us to restaurants for lunch after our tours of the Colosseum and Vatican - it was nice to be taken to a recommended place and not a tourist trap. On of our favorite restaurants while in Rome was the lunch spot Sean took us to by the Colosseum. It was also great to have someone take photos of us, Sean would say "Here is a great photo spot" and ask if we wanted our picture taken, it is nice to have pictures we knew would be good of the two of us. I would recommend The Roman Guy to anyone who asked for tour guides. Keep up the great work!..more
