Are tickets included in the price of the tour?

A: Yes! There are no additional costs to online prices. The only exception is optional gratuities for your guide which are appreciated if they do a great job.


Can I join a tour if I don’t speak the local language?

A: Absolutely! All our tours are conducted in English,never two languages. Our guides are skilled in communication, ensuring you have a meaningful experience.


When do I pay for the tours?

A: Tours are paid for at the time of purchase. Most tours have a 24hour cancellation policy which is indicated on the tour page.


How are cancellations and changes to bookings accommodated?

How do I cancel if my plans change?

A: Our tours are really special, so we don’t recommend you cancel at all. That said, if your plans change you can log into, your My Ordersaccount which is the fastest and easiest way to cancel. You can also call or email, details in our footer below, and we’d confirm within 24 hours.


Do tours run rain or shine?

A: Yes, our tours are designed to operate in all weather conditions. We believe that experiencing the destination's charm under various weather conditions adds a unique dimension to your journey.


Can I participate in a tour if I use a wheelchair or have concerns about mobility?

A: For all mobility concerns, private tours are the best option. If someone in your group has mobility issues, we recommend you call (888 290 5595) or email to get special accommodations and information.


Which type of tour should I book?

A: For a more personalized experience with just your group, a Private Tour is ideal. This option ensures exclusivity, as you will have your own dedicated guide to cater to your interests and pace. The best value is in Small Group Tours. These tours are open to other The Tour Guy customers and vary in size, offering a balance between social interaction and exploration. Never more than 25 people and an average of 15.


How physically demanding are your tours?

A: Physical activity levels vary by tour. You can check the activity level on the top of each tour page.


Are solo travelers welcome on your tours?

A: bsolutely! Our tours are open to solo travelers, couples, families, and groups. Bring a fun and curious demeanor.


Are the tours customizable?

A: Our tours are not customizable. We’ve developed and crafted them for more than a decade so you can trust they have been optimized based on customer feedback!


What's the best way to stay connected while traveling in Europe?

A: Depending on where you are and what cellular provider you use, it may be inexpensive to use your telephone while traveling. Call your cellular provider, but many plans are anywhere from $10 per day to free (T-Mobile). Also, we recommend downloading Whatsapp while in Europe. You can connect to internet offline and message/call. Europeans mostly use Whatsapp for messaging even if they have an iPhone.


How far in advance should I book a tour?

A: If you see availability, we recommend you book right away. Our cancellation policy is free up to 24 hours in advance for most tours which provides flexibility. See the cancellation policy in the tour details page for more.


Are there any age restrictions for the tours?

A: Our tours cater to various age groups. However, some tours might have specific age restrictions due to the nature of the activities. Check the specific tour’s webpage for more details.


Can I bring luggage on my tour?

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide luggage storage during our tours. We recommend making arrangements with your accommodation or checking with local luggage storage facilities, such as Stow Your Bags, in the area.


Do you offer Private Transfers?

A: We do not offer private transfer services as part of our tour packages. However, we can certainly provide recommendations or guidance on arranging transportation to and from our tour starting points. We also highly recommend utilizing local public transportation! It is an excellent way to learn the city and feel like a local!
